Hannah's Light Award
The Hannah’s Light Award is presented each year on the anniversary of Hannah’s passing to a woman who, even through her own grief, continues to shine the light of Jesus to those around her. This award honors someone who demonstrates extraordinary faith, love, compassion, and strength in the midst of hardship, choosing to be a source of hope and encouragement to others. Hannah’s life continues to shine through the lives she touched. This award is a reminder that even in our deepest sorrow, the light of Jesus can still shine brightly through us. It is given in honor of Hannah and in celebration of those who continue to carry His light into the world.
Patricia Ortiz, is our first recipient of the “Hannah’s Light Award.” Patricia has a beautiful way of shining light into the lives of others, even in the midst of her own grief. I am so proud to give her this award and to let others know what an amazing blessing she is in my life. Our children, now in Heaven, are fully healed and experiencing the fullness of joy in the presence of Jesus. While we miss them more than words can express, we can honor their lives by continuing to carry His light into a world that desperately needs it. May we keep shining the light of Jesus while loving others, and may others see Him through the light we carry.
