Silent Screams

This poem is the cry from my broken mommy heart, after losing my daughter on 8/12/2025:

Silent Screams

The silent screams of a mother’s grief,

Death stole my daughter like an unsuspecting thief.

“How are you?” they ask, and “I’m fine” I will say,

But my silent screams continue every minute, every day.

Tears in my eyes and pain in my heart,

Since my child left me and we were forced to part.

The silent screams within make me feel so alone,

Coming forth, a desperate and unrecognizable moan.

Memories flood in and take my breath away,

Longing for my girl, wanting just one more day.

Silent screams will cease the day we reunite,

Until then, they’re trapped while she’s out of my sight.
